  • Our hostel is the only accommodation within the boundaries of Point Reyes National Seashore, providing easy access to the park's stunning landscapes and attractions. It is 10-15 minutes from Point Reyes Station and 2 miles from Limantour Beach.

    The address is 1390 Limantour Spit Rd, Point Reyes CA, 94956.

    From Point Reyes Station head south on CA-1.

    Turn Right onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd.

    Turn left onto Bear Valley Rd.

    Turn Right onto Limantour Rd.

    After 6 miles, turn left onto Limantour Spit Rd and you have arrived!

  • Yes, unless you book out the entire lodge or a whole building you will be sharing a bathroom with guests from another room. Most of the bathrooms have separate toilet and shower rooms to minimize waiting.

  • In general, guests of the Laguna Creek rooms are the only ones that have access to the living and kitchen area in that building. Guests of the farmhouse, bunkhouse and meadow house all have access to the living, kitchen and dining rooms in the farmhouse building. All guests can use the outdoor spaces and BBQ area. See the description of each room for more details.

  • 4pm-7pm is the check in window. If you want to check in early please call and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you plan on arriving after 7pm you MUST let us know so we can give you instructions on how to access your room.

  • Formerly the property was known as the Hostel Point Reyes and was operated by Hosteling International. In 2023 we took over the property and renamed it Limantour Lodge, a nod to the beautiful beach and estero just down the road.

  • Yes, we have a strong fast Wi-Fi connection to all rooms and common areas. Wi-Fi is free for all guests.

  • There is no cell phone service at the lodge. You will need to drive a mile or so up the road towards town to get service.

  • We offer a range of accommodations, a large bunkhouse that can sleep 22 people and private rooms with either a single queen bed or a double plus bunk beds.

  • Yes, we have two large kitchens and dining areas as well as an outdoor BBQ and dining area. All rooms have access to a kitchen. The kitchens are fully equipped with fridges, freezers, stoves, pots, pans, dinnerware, etc.

  • Aside from the kitchen and dining areas, we have a large outdoor gathering space with Adirondack chairs and nice views of the valley as well as two large living rooms with comfy couches and hangout spaces. For guests of the bunkhouse there is a large living room.

  • We do not have laundry services for guests.

  • Yes, we provide parking facilities for our guests right outside the building. If the parking lot is full there is street parking in front of the property.

  • Yes, we provide fresh linens and towels for all guests. We do not offer new linens each day so we ask you to reuse your towels

  • Our cancellation policy varies depending on the type of reservation and time of cancellation. Please refer to the room listings on our website or contact our reservations team for detailed information.

  • Point Reyes offers a variety of attractions, including scenic hiking trails, beautiful beaches, the Point Reyes Lighthouse, Tomales Bay, and more. Our staff can provide recommendations and directions.

  • Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am every day. For the bunkhouse we ask that all noise generating activities are finished by 9pm so others can sleep. We also ask that you do not use cell phones in indoor common areas and keep them silent while on the property.

  • Yes, we offer group accommodation. You can book out multiple rooms, a whole building or the entire property. We have options that are great for school, youth, corporate and other groups. If you're planning a group trip, please get in touch with us in advance to discuss availability and arrangements. You can email info@limantourlodge.com.

  • It's a good idea to book as early as possible, especially during peak seasons, to ensure availability for your desired dates.

  • Our hostel is open to guests of all ages. However, if you're under 18, you'll need to be accompanied by an adult.

  • Yes, please familiarize yourself with the national seashore's regulations, including rules about camping, wildlife interaction, and park conservation. You can find them on the National Parks website.

  • Changes to reservations are subject to availability and our cancellation/change policies. It's best to contact our reservations team to discuss any changes you'd like to make.
